has any one done a DIY electronic gearchanger. My indy is almost finished but I would like a elect. gearchanger..Any ciruits photos etc would be very welcome.
Well it’s kinda hard seeing that you haven’t even said if your car is a CEC or a BEC far less what gearbox you have. There’s things out there of both, plenty kits for the bike gearboxes. Just do a search on google and you’ll see them.
Its a lot more reliable with high pressure lines though- like on rally cars and such.

Don't WRC cars use hydraulics to actuate there shifts. More reliable but probably not the most lightweight option on a BEC say?
flak monkey - 21/1/09 at 05:47 PMElectronic gear change kits are readily available, and IMO a better option to the mechanical paddle shift.
They need to be fitted carefully though to get them to work well.
