i've been offered a locost, which appears to have been on the road in the past, but has no reg number or paperwork with it .

the VIN number is present, is there any way to retrieve the reg number ?

Hi,

Phone DVLA and give them the VIn and they will tell you about the car and if it is still registered, they should also send you a copy of the V5 at cost though.

why is there no registration numbers or papers?
i'd stay well clear of that, bet you that same vin number's being used on another car, along with the plates and papers
