I bought a US spec 1972 Triumph GT6, body is mostly good but the oily bits are rubbish. I have owned BMC and Ford of England products in the past but
never a Triumph. I need to find a useful forum like this one to guide the impending work.
Thanks in advance for any help.

that site has all sorts of official publications in PDF format. Bear in mind even if your model is not specifically covered, there is huge crossover
with the Vitesse MK2 in terms of engine, gearbox, suspension and rotoflex rear, and spitfire in many other respects.
There will be many many Triumphs your side of teh pond, that is where the vast majority were sold. So forum support should be good.
I would suggest the CT site, there is one chap who is restoring a GT6 in the states at the moment.... and more active than TSSC (though that
isn't bad)

Thanks for the info;
been looking at Canley Classics and Rimmer Bros for parts, fuel pump packet it in this week.
There seems to be some differences between the UK and US spec vehicles as mine has low compression and modified Stromberg CD carbs.
Note in the owners manual says engine is from a 1971 don't know if this makes a difference.
