A historic moment

At last, this evening I reached 2 high points of the build the first, rear wheels on the car the second its now too heavy to lift by hand. Cool. Its only taken 2 1/2 years!.

Early days yet then. You don't want to rush these things.

B***er !!!

Two and a half years into the build and I still havn't had the wheels on yet.
Come to think of it I havn't actually got the wheels yet.

One year in and i'm still driving the donor sierra every day, must get it in the garage and start stripping it down soon, maybe next year.

Bu**er!!!

Year and a half in and I'm still reading the book

I'll tell Mrs Tigere1 at some point why the garage is left empty

I must be doing all right then - 10 months in just got wiring and DD2 to finish then fire her up and go for first drive. Im targetting completion in December for 14 month build.

Travel and new baby has slowed progress somewhat.

Two and a half years in...... still re-reading book!

House move imminant, then woohoo 2 garages and 3 parking spaces... no more obstacles

There was a guy on my evening class welding course who was a little slower even than me. When I talked to him two years ago he was still working on the chassis...

...after 6 years!

Wonder if he's managed a wishbone by now!

Slow building shows attention to detail

and an eye for quality

PS. Mind you, it could also be pure laziness
