What's your cars' name?
millenniumtree - 29/6/06 at 02:51 AM

I've been thinking about this at great length... When the plan was to use a Supra engine, the choice was obvious... "The Supra Seven"
Now that I'm using a 4A-GE 20V, I've been trying to figure out a name... Then it struck me!

My donor car will be a Japanese Corolla "Levin"
"Levin7"

_NOT_ "Seven Levin" Sounds too much like a state-side petrol station chain.

What's yours called?

The F1-2 (should read F1 squared, where the 2 is small, but I can't do this on the computer!)

DIY Si - 29/6/06 at 06:39 AM

Our is called "The Frog" 'cos that's what my wife reckons it looks like from the front! I'm thinking of getting a badge made up with a frog on it, for the nose cone.

ned - 29/6/06 at 12:15 PM

Thats mine mine has been called on several occasions recently only much worse!!!!

My missus reckons its brum. But itl be much faster and bigger.

Crazy Jay - 29/6/06 at 03:21 PM

I havent come up with a name yet but my mate calls mine the b*stard (for some reason )
Tho he also calls his polo the "spliffinwagon"

alister667 - 29/6/06 at 04:11 PM

I agree with Ned.
Mine was christened Lucy early on in the build and that's what everyone knows her as now.

Reason?
To much welly and she get's a bit 'loose-y' at the back end.

It's a bad, bad pun. Sorry.

smart51 - 29/6/06 at 05:35 PM

Mine gets called "the blue car" or "the other car". Perhaps I should think up a name.

bob - 29/6/06 at 06:18 PM

Mrs bob has always refered to my car as "the bitch" so she has named her "Joan Collins"

I often say i'm just going to fill joan up

Bruce it is then, Ned. Ned, sounds a bit different. Mind if I call you Bruce.

MikeR - 29/6/06 at 07:17 PM

Friends tintop got the nickname money pain! Was suppose to be money penny but it soon became a slighty expensive pain (for a while, touch wood etc)

David Jenkins - 29/6/06 at 08:15 PM

Mine also gets called "the toy car", which I think is a fair and accurate description.

Mark Allanson - 29/6/06 at 10:19 PM

My daughter calls it 'Brum'

My son calls it 'Ja Ja Binks'

My wife calls it 'No, it might rain, it will blow my hair all over the place, what wrong with going in the Golf, people might see me, there is no room to put anything I buy........'

My V5 calls it 'Allanson Se7en'

owelly - 29/6/06 at 11:42 PM

My cars are the 'Plastic cars'. To give then their proper names, they are 'Pi²' and 'Pi³'.
I had an aluminium boat that had a habit of not starting at the most inopertune moments. It was called 'Pi Dish'. Pi, because 22/7 won't go, just like the engine and Dish because it looked like a pie dish! My next boat was just called 'Pi' so the cars got 'Pi²' and 'Pi³'.

They often get called the 'Lardy Cars' for some reason......
