got my tax disc and surprisingly reg has on 2 instead of 3 numbers, whcih is always a good thing.
got therear plate sorted via e-bay - should get that early next week - went for a square plate as they are smaller = lighter 
just checked phot of
rear (away from car) and it will fit nicely.
got a front sticky on plate under offer on ebay so will see how that goes.
got 2 tax disc holders - one is a anodised one that I reckon I'll either bolt to the scuttle or between the rear seats.
so all systems go -ish

I know you are sitting in front of you PC instead of driving in the lovely whether so inbn order that you can go out and drive, here is update. My
offer for front plate was accepted so should be getting that soon..... seems everything is ready (after the insurcance folks know the reg.) to go.
