help me find the supercharged crossflow
02GF74 - 23/11/07 at 02:58 PM

somewhere out there on the web there is an article about fitting a supercharger to a crossflow - please help me find it.

From memory if was put into a 7 type car the person's name is Paul Ferraterro or similar, I think. (I could be wrong about the name). Also could be mazda s/g.

But for sure he is a black smith and does iron work and stuff and his site has the s/g xflow.

ta.

Found some stuff on MG forum, some stuff on 'A' Series engines, and some stuff on american crossflows, but nothing specific I'm afraid! and nothing tied in with a name like the one above...

You could have a read of this though...

Hi i seem to remember one at the WSCC trackdays at mallory park. I think he entered two of them. It might be a place to start a search.

Although if it's the same car i dont think it ever ran for more than 3-4 laps befor experiencing problems.

HTH cheers Matt

O2 GF 74 have just seen your post, Allards used to produce a Supercharger for the Crossflow during the 70s etc.
Out of interest i have just put a book on e-bay( Tuning Escorts and Capris ), Which has a short chapter on Supercharging theCrossflow.

Guy Croft up in Lincs. has lots of experience on supercharging. See www.guy-croft.com - if nothing relevant drop him an email.
Cheers, Pewe
