Blade pitch adjustable enough to reverse air flow direction.

I'd fly a helicopter like that, but no-one would believe it was deliberate

Good flying is scale speed flying. That heli may be impressive, but unfortunately does absolutely nothing for me. Watching a scale model (scaled down to the last rivet or bit of stitching), and flying nice and slow (scale!!) is what I like.

I thought that too as my mate has a Raptor similar to the one in the video. I can fly fixed wing models so just how hard can it be eh?? All I can say is unbelievably hard. It's as if it's made of steel and the ground is a big magnet. The greatest altitude I managed was about 50 cm and still ended up losing a blade as I couldn't land it the right way up from that height.

This vids one of my favourites, its not until youve ever tried it that you realise how difficult it must be. Also look what can happen if you get it a bit too close http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=h9sSOBrZ-6k my mate pulled his rudder half off on an inverted touch and go, causing it to roll and crash, would be more annoying with that B29

Not done this for a while

Last plane was a Graupner mini viper with a helicopter Brushless motor like this one.

Sold it now through ebay.

Quite small and stupid fast, and climbs like saturn5.

I'm too old now to keep up with the speed, let alone see it.

Even make's a turbobusa se7en look slow.
Not even a decent video of one on youtube.

Only model left is a cheap "3D" heli

from here

linky

Direct from china.

Mine cost £105 to my door a year back.

Want to lear to fly a RC plane

Get someone in the know to fine a complete second hand setup on ebay (locost way),
and get lesson's, many will do this for free.

I've seen this style of Linky night flying live. video's just don't do it any justice.
