Ok. All this talk about withdrawal symptoms but who had it worst?
My money is on Whippy
yeah but he frequents several forums at once. So maybe it was not biggie for him.
well although I did check a few times till I saw Chris's read only version, yesterday was quite busy with meetings
so I didn't have much
time for the web
Yeah I'm on a few other forums, mind not all Mr Whippys are me, honestly I've been cloned
He could have given us a bit more warning that he was going to shut it down though

Withdrawal symptoms? what, you mean like a sticky belly?
I suspect there was a hardware failure on the server, so it had to get rebuilt from backups. It happened lateish at night so I'd guess Chris didn't get to do anything until the next morning.

I made printouts of the read only forum and started a new thread with pen and paper. My cat was the first registered user and she contributed a lot to the threads we made. I then made dinner of alphabet spaghetti arranged to spell 'locostbuilders' across my toast.

the new look LB forum was put up by chris as a teaser! whippy was committed to a mental hospital for the day due to post withdrawl depression and the

Even though I'm not building a 7, (Zetec engined MGB) its more help and fun on here than any MG forum. The flat cappers frown on my
