How flexible are silicon hoses

Did a brief search before, couldn't quite see what i wanted, so...

How flexible is silicon hose when fitting over pipes? eg. will a hose of 13mm ID fit on a pipe of 15mm OD (just an example, any actual experience of such hose size differences would be appreciated (and no inuendo intended :p))

I have a 13mm id hose on a 15mm copper fitting, its the one teed off for the header tank in the attached, not too much force to get it on, and not unduly stretched.

Some of the cheaper silicone hoses have an inner membrane which can be pushed in if you force to hard, plus if the hose is streached to tight the hose clip can put strain on the hose and it will split at the edge of the clip
