Does anyone know any rough dimensions of one of these air cooled engines. I'm after the height and width really.

I have a short Type 4 engine I can measure for you in the morning, but it has no fan tinware etc.

OK Just measured it

77 CM Wide from rocker cover to rocker cover

40 CM from gearbox mounting face to crank pulley flange

36 CM from bottom of sump to top of breather tower.

As said this does not allow for any tinware, fans, pulleys etc.
