or buying some anti-slip tape
using it to put down on the floor panel as else it'll be a tad slippy if ever wet.
We used the tape on the stairs of the boat and its plenty grippy.
The floor of your car being slippy when we will be the absolute last thing you worry about
After you have sat in a waterlogged seat for a few miles all will become clear

Locost option would be to paint it and then pour out some sand in the wet paint.

I used some self adhesive anti slip sheet left over from my mother in laws wheel chair access ramp , same stuff as the tape but in sheets

It was left over from the wheelchair ramp . May be available from adisability shop? Can't ask the M.I.L she's long gone.
