Check out the 'magic box' pics in my section of the photo archive and air your views! This fabrication comes complete with all front suspension
brackets and upper shock mounts as well as a steering rack mount. ALL IN ONE BOX! Am I missing something or does this cure all them awful front
suspension setting up problems by simply shortening the rails and welding on this box?? I am looking at marketing this for other locost derived cars
so all feedback will be appreciated....
all the bracket positions are laser cut to a tolerance of +/- 0.2mm and the brackets locate in slots to ensure accuracy. The entire assembly is from
3mm mild steel and can be supplied tack welded or fully welded and with or without wishbones.
it looks like a really good idea.
Now if you included wishbones as an option, you have a complete bolt on front end.

looks good merlin, the only point i would make is, maybe top shock, and even sterring rack mounts could be left out, as in my case i moved both....but
thats just me looking for no bump steer and better (or worse) shocker positioning.......
Btm line.....looks good
available with or without wishbones
working on round cnc bent tube wishbones at the moment, pics should be up next week
As a "soon to start" builder, anything that makes things easier has got to be a good thing.Looks sweet!

looks Magic can i have one please, how much?
Some 25mm square holes in the plate for the chassis rails to go through so far so it can be adjusted if they aren't perfectly cut at the ends would
make fixing it easier, just an opinion.
yours Pete.
Ill take a dozen!
Looks great,
Would have saved me weeks of fannying about, mind you may still need it if car doesn't drive well!
I'll take one!! Was going to put my front suspension on tomorrow but I may wait now.
Chris
Maybe some more holes at in the plates to aid airflow through radiator. Looks good though.
Looks good to me - How much?
The overall dimensions remain as the book, ie - with externally mounted radiator. To keep prices down and bearing in mind that those buying one will be fabricating their chassis anyway I am supplying it tack welded together for £50 cash, buyer collects. I can however weld it up for you if we can negotiate a price! The feedback so far has been pretty good and all points have been put into the mark II which will be welded up this evening. Pictures should be up tomorrow!
