Got a feeling it never will

how much cash and by what method?

if you took it to the post office and got a receipt, you can claim the cost of 100 first class stamps back...so £41

if not, what in the world were you thinking man? also, you can claim the cost of 6 1st class stamps but i imagine £2.46 doesn't really cover your loss...

i've been waiting nearly a month for a phone screen but it is coming from hong kong....allegedly

No, but you have my sympathy in a general sort of way.

I'm suffering rubbish collection delays...
we haven't seen a refuse collector truck round here for more than a month!

I ordered stuff Sunday. got a notification that it was sent 1st class Tuesday, still no sign of it. It's holding up my latest brew!

SeaBass - 8/1/11 at 12:39 PM

Yep - slooow here. Don't know why. Our postie has been working his backside off to get out to farms etc round here. I presume the delay is further up the delivery chain somewhere.

Had a few delays (well quite a lot really) over the Xmas break but all back to normal now.

Brooky - 8/1/11 at 01:20 PM

Well, this morning the postie left me an invite to the next VAT free day at machine mart, on the 30th Dec 2010 or the 2nd Jan 2010.

Yes he left me the same invite, which is what got me wondering and checking what was outstanding.

I know I know I know..... Always have to learn the hard way me (Wife quote). It was £30 cash, not a great deal but enough for a lesson learned.

Last one I had was "If you haven't learned by now you never will" so I figured the lesson I need to learn is don't work but that's another rant.

Apparently I have a credit card due. I wonder what will turn up first the card or the bill

coozer - 8/1/11 at 08:09 PM

Not just postal but I bought something 2 weeks afore xmas only for it to turn up yesterday after asking WTF it was!

RM don't cover cash, jewellery or phones...

JoelP - 8/1/11 at 09:09 PM

I waited for two weeks for a tv wall mount that hdnl admitted they had lost! Useless buggers then said they would order another for me, which they didnt.
