got the chainsaw warmed up ready for these little urchins who think they
are scary.Taken the chain off to satisfy HSE.
"You nasty man" you made my little johnny cry.
hahaha brill
I find making special Halloween cookies is a good idea. Half are heavily laced with laxative. After all it is trick or treat, and that trick is
untraceable

how about 50% laxative and 50% "herbal"![]()
Admittedly, I don't open the door either. I am terrified of people whose faces I can't see. Even small ones.
Don't get me started on Halloween...
Ages ago, when I was a little kid (7 or 8-ish) parents used to organise a little party for local kids - cake, sweets, apple bobbing and other similar
entertainments. Older children (10+) weren't interested as that was "just kid's stuff".
Now it seems to be an excuse to spend a fortune in the shops on crappy costumes - I have even seen a "Happy Halloween" card - dealing with
gangs of little kids wandering round the neighbourhood bothering people, and worrying about the older teens (and even young adults) using it as an
excuse to cause trouble and mayhem. Some pensioners get into a right state worrying about who's going to be banging on their door.
When you consider what it really is - just the night before the start of the religious festival called All Hallows - why do we have to put up with
this damn stupid American idea?
I despise 'trick or treat'. I got in big trouble with Mrs Beddows last night for not letting our 1 1/2 year old go begging round the streets in the dark, in the pouring rain with his half sister and her chav mates......... I'm a kill joy apparently............but on this occasion I really don't care - he's only 1 1/2 ffs
Had 2 seperate groups of older lads turn up to 'trick or treat' last night that hadn't even dressed up, just jeans/jackets.. now surely that's just begging!
I just leave the inside front door open and the dog goes mad when they knock. They don't hang about!
Think there was only 2 knocks last night so word got around pretty quick... and every kid in the area now knows there's a dog there for future
referance.
I'd love to know how the parents balance "Don't accept aything from strangers" with "Go to strangers doors and ask for
sweets"?
