Anyone heard some buzz re Phantom Car Co.?? They produced that attractive mid-engined 2-seater, the Vortex.

Their website is "unobtainable". Hope they are still in business.

Saw three at Stoneleigh. Rover 8 series engine and box at the rear, very pretty car, and nice finish. Bloke who had just finished one said £20K- £23K for a good finish.
A little too much for me when you can buy a very nice s/h Porker Box for that sort of money that should go/stop/corner better and be worth something when you come to sell.

i know a guy building one near me, been over to his loads and seen thewhole build process on it - its nearly done now, all he has to do is the small jobs before the sva - its a great looking car, and should shift!
