I paid mine off a couple of years ago, best thing I did, only downside is you have to be of a certain age to do it.Good luck.

I'll be honest, I gave up a pretty steady well paid job around four years ago to work with swimbo on expanding her "hobby" "cottage" eBay habbit into a buisiness.

We changed the name registered properly ect best thing I ever did, scary at the time but well worth it now, our mortgage was paid up just short of 14 years early, we have our second member of staff starting this coming Monday and after testing the water on amazon are expanding on there to.

Where not rich by any means but it's nice not to have too look over your shoulder as I have had to in the past, think what I'm trying to say is if you have an dream/idea peruse it.

Well done to you and the mrs ... It's nice when someone's taken a risk and worked hard and it pays off ... Again well done

Been mortgage free for 10 years now, there's nothing like the 'this is mine and no one can take it off me feeling'

Pay at least the equivallent to your mortgage payments into savings plans and watch the retirement fund grow....
