Spider in Mirror
Ben_Copeland - 26/8/04 at 03:43 PM

Whoelse has a spider in their wing mirror????

However hard you try to flush the little bugger out it comes back the next day, with it's brand new web !!!!!!

At 80mph on motorway, you glance in your mirror, and what do you see... the little sod hanging on

So thought i'd do a little poll........ Where is your spider???

Had him for about a year now. hes like part of the family

even the karcher pressure washer doesn't get the bugger out. i figure with something so resilient, i am better to leave him alone or he will probably get the better of me.

I like having him there- I need someone that atleast pretends to have a use for me!

Last night i discovered a spider web somwhere else!

Guinness - 26/8/04 at 08:48 PM

Yup, got one of those too!!!

Do you think it's a new species that likes that wind the hair feeling.

Had one on every car i've ever owned, now wondering if it is the same one??

Oooooooo Drivers Mirror is winning so far.... Do spiders have mirror preferences

chris.russell - 27/8/04 at 09:08 AM

actually found none on my car, maybe its got something to do with starting work early and they've not have enought time arrive and take residence over night?

DaveFJ - 27/8/04 at 09:34 AM

Last few mornings have got into the car only to find a web from steering wheel to grab handle - so i guess the buggers moved inside out of the rain!

Arn't spiders optional extras?

I'm training mine to drive so that I can sell the car with cruise control

I managed to get rid of mine.... using plenty of suds and a well placed hose. However, he found his way back!!

mad4x4 - 27/8/04 at 12:22 PM

tractorboy - 29/8/04 at 02:35 AM

bob - 29/8/04 at 07:52 AM

I call mine Harry as in Hudini, whikst going down the motorway on our hols Harry was out repairing his web.

Kept my lad amused for a while and saved me from having to play eye spy and other general family holiday car games.

givemethebighammer - 29/8/04 at 04:47 PM

my last car VW passat and my current one Seat alahambra both have spiders in the drivers mirrors (who knows could be the same one or related ?)

Never bothered trying to get it out, not hurting anyone so leave it alone.

Peteff - 29/8/04 at 04:55 PM

What's got 4 wheels and flies? Not me since I got the spider option pack .

andyps - 29/8/04 at 09:21 PM

Need to change my vote - got one in each mirror now!
