I like many don't do golf bowling and certainly don't have any golf bats

you maybe don't have to like golf, but seems you have to half at least the slightest bit of interest in golf to get it?

I'm a bit indifferent to golf - indeed, one of my fave film scenes is Michael Douglas taking the wee out of the dieing golfer in Falling Down,
but did enjoy the yanks getting utterly thrashed.
You only have to watch a YT vid featuring redneck to see typical US golf fan behaviour. Quite pathetic really.
