Help: What Bulb Is This?
Barkalarr - 27/6/13 at 08:41 PM

SWMBO has told me to order some new bulbs for the lamps in the house. I've never seen a bulb like this. What's it called so I can order some. It's a 240v

Cheers

G4, but they're usually 12v.

How can I tell if it's a G4 or G9 ?

Edit: Don't worry - Have purchased 10 x G4 for a whopping £2.89 on the bay.

No idea what it's called but it's dead common, take it with you and buy one that looks the same. Wattage should be printed on it. B&q sell them. There will be a transformer separate somewhere.
