Hi everyone. We'd love a family (wife and four yr old daughter) holiday in France this year but our budget is not great. Can anyone recommend
anything in France? We don't want to camp, but would consider everything else? Hotel, B&B, caravan, gite, cottage etc... Looking for this
August.
Thanks everyone!

No personal experience, but his prices look good, and he's got a wicked sense of humour
Try owners direct and then sort out your flights I did this and worked out well
Splitrivet bob on here has mentioned a holiday house in France before.
recently booked and stayed in a house near Spa Francorchamps through homeaway.
a week cost me around 250 in a 3 bed house that slept 9.
maybe have a look.

We've just returned from here today after competing in The Monteberg Rallysprint.

It's only about ten miles or so from the French border into Belgium between Dranouter and Kemmel.
It's a small friendly family run hotel that offers nice accomodation, lovely food and superb views.
It's about an hours drive from Calais so not far. Ypres is another ten or so miles away and is a must visit if in the area.
We've been several times now and have already booked again for next year! We paid 33 Euros a night b & b per person but they may have done us
a deal as there was eleven of us.
Off topic, what did you compete in? I've done monteberg twice with a darrian crew
We used Eurocamp specifically Yello village the fixed caravans are excellent with decking and all facilities, club house is great, kids club and
pool
Most are vey close to beach
I drove to Guilvinec near Quimper for years cam is on the beach the flew to Perpignan South of France

Thanks all. Sadly prices seem to be just crazy, but I guess if people pay it it's just marketing, not craziness! Eurocamp looked ideal for us as
a family but it looks to be 1200 for a week and that's not even slightly within our reach!
I'll carry on looking, owners direct next on the list!
