Hi All
I'm doing some 'research' and thought I'd turn to the LCB collective.
Since retiring from the Fire Service last year, I've been doing some fire risk assessment work. It appears to me that many businesses are
oblivious to their obligations to conduct a fire risk assessment and that they only react when prompted by enforcing agencies or their insurance
provider.
I'd be grateful for any views from you guys who own businesses / rental properties etc., or those who get landed with the task in their
workplace.
I'm not trying to drum up work as I have enough on my plate (and I need to get the Striker finished!). My website is www.fire.wales though if
anybody wants a look.

Wyn
I am about to book a NEBOSH fire risk assessor course. Any tips.
Depends on what your background is.
My parents have a rental property business, I wrote their fire risk assessment for them in preparation for some kind of insurance audit. They were fine with it in general.

Your background is in inspection and testing isn't it? That should make fire risk assessments relatively easy for you!
