When I try to cut fonts smaller than 40, the blade snags the edge of the lettering. i've tried adjusting the cutter force, no difference. Also, new blade, no difference.
Big, smooth shapes are ok, a lot of my work is fairly smaller lettering and stuff.
Any ideas ?

do you have a cut speed setting on your cutter? maybe by slowing it down it might help. I also convert all my text to outlines.

yep, I convert all text to outline fonts anyway. i'll try slowing it down. I think its caused by the blade not spinning quick enough to make a tight turn. I just don't know how to cure it !

Were the blade fits in holder clean any debri out and squirt a bit of WD40 in it!
The problem sometimes occurs on my graphtyp this usually cures it

What we are talking about are cutting blades in vinyl plotting machines which can cut most images out of vinyl!.
Ive got a signwriting business just up the road from u in the 'pool.
Graphics, logos, Hand lettering and airbrushing all catered for.
