dave1888 - 18/11/05 at 11:01 PM

get a dog there cheaper. Kids are for your parents

raccoonradar - 18/11/05 at 11:03 PM

the best investment when having kids is a very good carpet cleaner, will give you years of good service

minordelay - 18/11/05 at 11:13 PM

Make the most of the garage time when you can mate.
First six months in there and that's it!!!

Seriously though, all the best hope all goes well, it's what life's all about.

DO NOT let her hold you hand....I made this mistake and ended up with 3 broken fingers.

carlgeldard - 19/11/05 at 09:09 AM

Hope all goes well and I take it you don't want that welding doing tonight. Give us a bell and let us know how you got on.

Done and dusted in 4 hours and back home within 12.

For those who are interested, it was a little baby.

Now I'll be in the garage if you want me love - isn't fully paid paternity leave great.

Pat

Peteff - 19/11/05 at 05:54 PM

Still got the Vax. It's handy for pet's mishaps as well.

it was a little baby.

A little baby full stop eh? congratulations and best wishes to the Mother and baby. As they say at the Hospital, many happy returns.

Let us know what it is when it turns into a child

omega 24 v6 - 19/11/05 at 05:54 PM

Many congrats to you all. Bet you wished you'd built a 442 for the baby seat to fit into

Aye right- as we say very sarcastically in this part of the world.

Enjoy the next couple of weeks - I know I did when our wee yin came along just over four years ago now.

steve_gus - 19/11/05 at 06:08 PM

people always use that word.... little.

like it could have been something else!

congrats. Is it your first? If so, you might be overestimating time available in the garage

rayward - 19/11/05 at 06:22 PM

Nice one Pat,

congratulations

sleepless nights Ahead............
Ray

zilspeed - 19/11/05 at 06:24 PM

Y'know, we missed out on the sleepless nights bit mostly.

When she was newborn it was a case of feed at midnight then 6am. I believe that's technically 'sleeps all night' with a newborn.

More like a bl**dy miracle.

Been thinking about a sort of baby bouncer suspended from my cage with bunjee cords.

Two jobs at once then!

Well done Pat. I hope Mrs Pat is Ok. Brings back extremely happy 8 month old memories. Congrats to you both. Buy yourself a pint from me. I hope yours is good as mine - on;y lost sleep in first three weeks - then no problems at all (bed at 7pm, up at 7.30am - little angel)

DorsetStrider - 20/11/05 at 02:25 PM

Congrates guys. A good job well done.

So how long have you been car building? cos you know....your misses managed to build a baby in 9 months! lol

MikeRJ - 20/11/05 at 03:05 PM

Congratulations Pat, being present at the birth of your offspring is a pretty mind blowing event isn't it? Ours is now 4 months old and is simply the most wonderfull thing that has ever happened to us (this comming from someone who never wanted kids and was in a state of shock when he found wife was pregnant!)
