Recognise any names here?

Sad

Just 4 short years ago this man was a young thruster with a hand built sportscar.

Today a shell of a man with a caravan and a tartan rug..

Beware, old age can creep up on you without notice.

Cheers

Chris

be better to sell plastic tanks wouldn't it - get some of the 4x4 fodder off the road.

wilkingj - 1/1/06 at 11:31 AM

I can believe anyone would buy one of those...
At least with a Land Rover, you know its faults and it will go wrong.. but what an illusion these foreign jobbies are!

Ian Pearson - 1/1/06 at 01:31 PM

Oi!

I drive a 4x4.

bob - 1/1/06 at 02:15 PM

I resemble that remark!!
My current vehicle is a 1984 Land Rover 110 County Station Wagon (12 seater). I have owned it for 11 years, and its my 5th Landy.
All of them were real Landy's, and not the posh Disco / Rangey types, neither of which I can afford

I Wouldnt have a Foreign Johnny 4x4... Nice until they go wrong, then very expensive.
Most jobs on a Landy can be fixed with 4Lb Hammer and a bread knife. No special tools required except large muscles, as everything is heavy
http://www.g0ddx.co.uk - My other website with my last Landy Rebuild - Now sold to fund the Viento build

I might buy one.

bob - 1/1/06 at 10:12 PM

Good thinking chris

Ian Pearson - 1/1/06 at 10:46 PM

Damn, just broke the strap practicing my best swing. Sorry Bob, the contests off

You're right about the 4x4's. It's quite amusing watching some of the girlies trying to park.( No offence to anyone/person/gender or 4x4/non4x4 driver intended.)

Unless they are trying to park next to your own car of course!

My parking in the behemoth is just as bad. So bad in fact that I'm considering reverse sensors! (Anyone able to recomend any?)
