Anyone thinking of going out & spending loads of money on video camera or like for in car footage
Check the quality of your normal digital camera. This video was taken on a canon digital IXUS 700(The type you your holiday snaps on) , Video quality set at the lowest & set to the lowest frame per second got 1 min 56 sec out of a 32mb card. The only down fall is no mic input so yes you get wind noise but behind a screen or some tape over mic should be ok. Oh it was all so taken in low light as well
Cheers

thats damned good - make sure your camera mount can take some of the vibration out of the camera. I know video cameras with heads have been destroyed. Whilst the digi camera doesn't have tape heads the vibration still won't be good for it.
