what are these? Whenever its a wma rather than an mp3, as i play it it pops up a box about license aquisition and takes me to a friend finder site! Plus the virus checker tells me ive got a trojan.

Any clues? Im useless with computers...

Generally known as a virus!

Usually the WMAs are 197Kb, dont DL anything other than an MP3 as they are spoof and put there by people/companies trying to hack your PC or just to generally make it more difficult to download legit illegal files.

Most song files are between 4.5Mb and 10Mb depending upon length and bitrate.

If you insist on downloading illegally then you are best using Bitlord...

cheers hellfire!

I sometime buy them of itunes once i know its the right song, but in the past i paid for a whole album of junk because i was mistaken about what i was looking for! Hence illegal downloads to confirm it etc.

Might look into bitlord though, cheers!

wma's are windows media files. Iv never had trouble with them but as said, be wary of small files on limewire.

You can get file converters to change wma files to mp3. They are Windows media format but some are copyrighted so you need the licence to play them.
