i'm after a steerring wheel for my car, about 250mm i think, any advice/problems on makes/suppliers etc would be nice

250mm is very small so I would recommend trying one out for size first. You may find 320mm more realistic.

I have a 350mm on mine which is a tad too big for easy access in & out of the car but I am fitting a QD boss to improve things.

Depends on what you want, but 250mm is small.
I fitted a 320mm OMP wheel and it seems about right for me.

The steering on theses cars is not that light compard to modern power steeing and often the self centering is not that strong either so you do need a good grip of the wheel when trying some quick turns at low speed.

But , its up to you!

Mine is 11" (280mm) which is OK but maybe a little small. Either 11" or 12" (305mm) should be fine on a 7, though it might depend on how quick a rack you have got.

Check out the availability of SVA able bosses, my astrali wheel is fine but the quality of the boss is worse than terrible, I had to make my own

I got an omp kubic in the end 300mm across and 265 high, looks good but the weathers to bad to try it yet.
what do you think because i know its a bit of a wierd shape, did look at a 270mm momo but the price of the wheel had gone up from £86+vat to £103+vat and to be honest when i looked at it the quality was absolute cr*p, if i'd bought it off ebay i'd of thought it was a fake for the price of it so i settled for this
