Afternoon folks. Does anyone on here have any knowledge of VW golfs? Specifically the 1.4litre ones from between 1991 and 1997?

I'm just trying to find out how their radiators were bolted down...

most Vw rads of that time that I've had apart were a couple of pins/lugs through something in the bottom, normally a rubber bush (but not always) and the tops were a couple of straps again mostly secures in a similar way to the bottomand the other end was bolted to the slam panel with an m6 bolt

With out looking can't be sure but I think there may be a couple of 10mm headed bolts holding the rad secuing brackets then disconnect and lift out.

^^^ what he said. Two bolts for the top two straps and then just lift it off the crossmember.

Brilliant, thanks folks. I've got what I beleive to be a golf rad that fits my car, and I was wondering how to mount it as it has plastic end caps, which I am reluctant to screw a bolt into

The rubber bush at the base, and bracket at the top should be doable though!
