Went too tax the new Focus today, not got log book yet as only bought it towards the end of December.
mmm, put 6 months on then tax wont fall at Xmas next year, write a cheque out for £92.25.....
"that's too much, its £60.50"
"You sure" ? he checks again and says yup, £60.50 I wasn't expecting reduced tax on an 1800cc car, have they made a mistake or is it
all down too emissions ?
emissions
spend the rest on your car
new shiney bit
I part ex'd my subaru for a 1lt Peugeot £40 for 12 Month!!
Any idea how much it is for 900cc locost?
£110/year.
Same here, £110 a year for all the fun I can handle! It's another advantage for having a bec!

Excellent, can't wait to annoy my mate/rival (he's just re-engined from xflow to xe)
another nail in the coffin of his cec shed !(he's reading this !!)
HUH , my 2.3 golf is over £100 for 6 months, and i only do 5k's a year.
That is a strange thing about it. Insurance changes with distance, road tax is fixed whether you do 1 mile or 50,000! May as well make the most of it
then!
Not at an average of 23mpg. Only when i'm feeling flush do i give it the BEAN'S.
23MPG? The last time I checked my works van I get about 18-20, but it's a white van and I'm not nice to it. Although the Indy only does
about 10 when having fun with it!
Yes , but 23mpg is driving echo friendly.
As above, just taxed daughters 107 - £40 for 12 months.
Woman in PO says cant be correct, will have to check ! comes back and says "its correct, its the first one I,ve done".
Are these to be exempt from congestion charge in London ?

The smartie diesel is free and the petrol 40 or 60 depends on reg year......
