He arrives as promised - its pouring down with rain and pitch dark but he gives the car a once over and says he likes it but offers me a silly low price which I politely refuse.
He goes away but calls me on his mobile 30 minutes later to offer me a better deal (just under my asking price) which I accept. He then says he will come back Saturday night with the cash.
He arrived as promised with said cash (and all the family in tow) and we do the deal (again in the rain and dark) and he hands over a wad of used notes. We do the neccessary paperwork and it turns out his name is Mohammed Ali !!
I felt like saying something like ' Blimey mate, you've lost weight' or 'I see you are coping well with Parkinsons' but thought better of it
Not many people can say that they have sold a car to Mohammed Ali can they !!
