Iv just recieved this from amazon:

This always happens when i order from amazon. I know its not their fault but to leave it until the day they initially said it would be released is soooooooo annoying

We've had several apology e-mails from Amazon, but that doesn't help the fact that we are still waiting for our stuff for Chrimbo pressies! We ordered the stuff in October!!

I've been in touch with Haynes and it's been delayed until the middle of next week - production difficulties they say.

You've waited this long, try to hold out until next week!


I'm going away for 18 months on holiday from then, so there's no point dissing me - I can't hear you, plus I've got my fingers in my ears!

Seriously, I think you'll all enjoy it, and if there are any mistakes (I'm only human) there's going to be a dedicated web forum where you can get updates and discuss the book generally. I'll post the address next week.

Try to be patient, I'm sorry about the delay but it'll be worth it.

Seriously I'm glad your on the forum and I'm sure you have taken many of the problems folk (including me) have been having, into account for your book. I was always a bit disappointed that neither Ron Champion or his son ever seemed to be on the site.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the new book. Hope its worth the money

I've seen a few other sites mention April. Haynes website of lies mentions February still (well at least this morning they did).
