fesycresy - 4/3/07 at 07:03 PM

Nope it's 6 of 6

Sundays are shite enough already.

steve m - 4/3/07 at 07:42 PM

It needs to be a lot better than last weeks drivel, to keep me watching

jlparsons - 4/3/07 at 08:29 PM

Only 6 in a series??? That can't be right surely?

stevebubs - 4/3/07 at 08:40 PM

I'm guessng they stopped filming when hamster went for a spin...

JoelP - 4/3/07 at 09:03 PM

possible, obv the studio part is live but that would leave them a large void of the junk in between. When was the brits compared to his mishap?

Todays was a damned good one though!

mookaloid - 4/3/07 at 09:03 PM

Stretch limo anyone?

Humbug - 4/3/07 at 09:06 PM

Which SVA centre did they go to then? Interesting that full 4 wheel steering would get through, and the quality of that Panda was appalling!

ABSOLUTELY!!!

I was hopping up and down, the amount of work/tweaking/fiddling about we have to do to get a well built lightweight sports car road legal compared to those?????
As you say May's one had steering at both ends and a detachable steering wheel! The panda broke in half!

There was a similar story a year or two ago when scrapheap challenge needed to get some cars road legal if I remember.

Next time I'm SVA'ing I'm saying it's for TV.

One law for them, rant, rant, etc, etc....

OK you an stop ducking now rant over!

That would be this thread:
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=10461

I suspect they pulled the 'agricultural show vehicle' loophole. Though having had some contact with film crews over the years they might just have decided to do it anyway and pay a few fines afterwards if necessary - since the cars will either be scrapped or put on display in the warehouse it's cost effective to do it that way (if the drivers can avoid getting points anyway).

The piece was as usual on this series highly scripted. I'd suspect all the breakdowns and May getting lost were planned in detail before filming even started.

me neither, sorry but the programme has been getting worse, over the last couple of series, and is now like watching, delia smith, very dull !!

(Bob, shhhh, its not on next week, tehe)

JoelP - 4/3/07 at 10:12 PM

completely scripted, but so is most comedy classic stuff, at least the challenge was closer to our hearts than most!
