Mini Michellotti ?
The Michelotti Mini
ADO70 was conceived by Harry Webster as a fun car for the US market. However, the project foundered when the prototype met with an apathetic reaction
by Leyland's management, and the required funds were not forthcoming. Although generally known as the Michelotti Mini, it should be noted that it
was built - rather than designed - by the Italian company.

Excellent, didn't take long at all, well impressed guys, found it on a site listing all the diffent mini based kits and specials, there are some VERY odd cars on there and some quite nice ones too.
Immediate background vehicle is the Austin Ant. Never went into prod'n. Was supposed to be the 1100/1300 equivalent of the Moke.
It appeared on TV (decades ago) in an event called Autopoint; London Auto Club vs the Army (who fielded tanks, Saracens and some very interesting
prototypes).
As to the main pic, IIRC it was one of the design studio proto models, for a sports version of the 1100/1300.

The pic title revealed when I did a "save as" was a bit of a giveaway
At my age, cheating is not only acceptable, it's essential
