Not sure how effective it will be as he has multiple emails, and is on a dynamic ip. So its very difficult to ban someone, hopefully chris knows a way.

depending on how his ip works (sometimes it username and sometimes its ip address) you may be able to use hostname to block him

I am really hoping, that you will not notice me here (admin-wise), and the wonderful 'self-modding' can continue as before.

Its more of a 'fail-safe' to prevent any episodes like last nights, causing needless harm/distress for any longer than necessary.

It realy is a sad reflection of the times that we live in that we should have to resort to moderators to solve a problem like the one that just appeared.
Even worse is the fact that David AKA Flackmonkey had to resort to self removal from this forum to solve the problem from his own prospective.
Let us all hope that this sort of problem NEVER recurs and we can all continue to enjoy the company and information that this forum provides.

Unortunately JGG, this problem is highly likely to strike again. The good news is the core team players are still thinking the same and we are becoming ever more vigilent as a community. That weasel was removed within 2 days ish. In the past it would have taken longer so we are moving forward. Strange it took so long to come thro after the visits to the scumbag BB site a few months back.

I for one is evry happy to have people like Fozzy keeping a tolerant eye on things. Following her 21st on Tuesday im sure the moderation will be just that.
