I suspect 'da management' are on the case.
(If Chris W's test posts are anything to go by).

Hopefully problem is now solved.

Well done Chris!
I am now deleting the Lawyer thread.
I reckon it is in everyone's interests.
Time to move on and forget this cack.
I'd still like to see justice beyond the banning/removal of this person and their posts.
Still hopefully that'll be an end to it on here.

many thanks chris..
ps just got back from stoneliegh show and i'm tired
cheers to chris and fozzie
Chris, glad to see you are actively working to protect the site.
How does the new phone verification system work? I am mainly concerned about international users. Is it only able to work w/ UK based phone numbers?
Or, if it does work internationally, are there instructions for how to specify an international number (011-<country-code>- ... )?
Thanks, -Scot
I just tried. It does appear to work fine internationally, thanks Chris.
Should work on any phone line as long as a caller ID is provided. A few years ago this might have been a problem, but as far as I am aware caller ID
agreements between national operators are pretty mature these days.
Chris
To follow on from Chris' post, above, if you have a 'dedicated' ex-directory telephone number, you will have to use your mobile...
Fozzie.
I take it that this is for new users ?
and is a good idea
