I think it is so im not going to post it....
I put on a nokia N80 on ebay this morning, within 2 minutes it sold to a women in the US, who then paid via paypal but wanted me to send it to her son
in Nigeria!
Sounds like an Hijacked acount
I've had this before. Buyer rambled on about how his son was fighting the good fight for America, having a hrd time, could I post a knackered Ipod to him in Nigeria! Told him where to stick it.
Now ive looked at my paypal account and the email that was sent to say i had recieved some cash, the email is a fake, a very good one at that!
what annoys me is that ebay says the phone isnt eligable for a free re-list and have charged me £6 listing fee + £4 finally value fee.

Ebay are wrong.
Wait 7 days and file an unpaid dispute.
You will then be able to relist and get your fees back.
when you relist, just make it immediate payment needed, then the auction doesn;t end unles they actually pay

I have seen this before. If you use turbo lister there is an option somewhere to restrict bidding to the country you will post to. I have used it and had no problems. For some reason phones seem to be a target for American and Nigerian scams. There is realy good help site for Ebay. Heres the link EBAY HELP Good luck. I will post the help site link as it is very usefull.
Fair play to ebay they sent me a mail telling me that the fees have been refunded and the listing removed due to an account hijack.
I had the same thing myself 5 times on the trot with the same phone. I actually sold it the 6th time. Even then i nearly told the chap to do one because his name was a bit dodgey.
Some times this is done to circumvent the law. There are restrictions as to what technology you export send to certain countries. This includes
personal sales of certain hi-tech items. You could wind up with a visit from the men in grey.
