summat looks a bit dodgy to me?Why would anyone want a used V5

It's not just a bit dodgy, it's completely dodgy. About as legal as selling children to a dog food factory.

The first thing that comes to mind is a word for the noise when you hear church bells.
Steve.

I'm impressed at teh £5 postage, it must be really heavy!

illegal; rather than talk about it, why not inform ebay? like I have done.

there is even an option: selling registration document without vehicle.

Poor guy He has stated that he is only selling it as a bit of motoring history. That icon of british motoring the RV jeep

It's obviously a Nigerian scam, check the spelling

He's only scraped it! and the Q 'makes no differants on insurance'

Also reported to eBay

mad4x4 - 22/5/07 at 11:32 AM

Looking at the sellers history I think he doesn;t know it's illegal. He has sold off parts of the Jeep (softop etc) and is now trying to sell the plate to anyone that can use it.

But as you say bit heavy for a Fiver postage must include the Chassis leg with the VIN number stamped on it.
