Cancelling an ebay purchase, help.

i bought on a buy it now the other day one metre of heater hose, the option to increase the amount bought never appeared, as i wanted two metres. contacted the seller who said to cancel the purchase and re buy, but i can't work out how to cancel the transaction, any ideas??

I don't think you can, since once you click BIN both you and the seller are in a binding contract.

Why not just send him twice the money and he can send you 2m? Saves him some fees too.

you and the seller have to agree to the cancel the seller then cancels or he will get charged for the sale

Ok then, this is what i thought but needed some confirmation, think i may just send him twice the money, sure he won't complain! Just as an aside this is what he sent to try and explain.

"Hi there. Simply cancel eBay in order cancel a transaction. Many thanks, Otto"

I struggled to make sense of it!

You need to file an unpaid item dispute stating you both agree to the withdrawl
