Hi all
I am 2 weeks of getting an upgrade for my mobile phone has anybody got any recommendations at all.

A phone is a phone at the end of the day and is only needed for calls, msgs and a few snaps. For that reason I go for durable and long lasting battery life. I don't need to charge my Sony Ericsson for 5-7 days!!!!!! All this gimmick mp3 and touch screen nonsense is for 15yr olds!
As with anything - it depends what you want to use it for.
I like Nokias - the pc software seems to work well for backups, contacts and phototransfers etc.
I use the N73 because it has a pretty good camera and I am a letting agent.
It also has a pop port which means that I can use it with my car kit and universal phone holder.

I too have the N73, and whilst it has a wonderful camera, I have found the software isn't great as a phone. Mine is ok, but my g/f's phone is a shocker! Thagt said, I treat phones really badly (i use them once and then never call!) and mine has stood up to the punishment. I have found that generally true of Nokias. Bottom line, find a handset that works for you, and squeeze the operator for a really good deal. Try E2save.com - good deals to be had!

I ended up with a clearence 6230i on 02 from car phone warehouse when i looked four months ago.
Its dead solid, reliable, battery lasts a week, and with the nokia software i could migrate all my stuff over with the drop of a hat and back it up
while i was at it.
The contract was £6.99 a month for 250minutes and 100texts. Down from £30 via redemtion (which is fine for me).
- I then actually changed it two months in to 200min 200txt and a larger data allowence on the same rate.
