at the minute there aren't really that many racing games for wii, the only half decent ones are the Need for Speed ones
(NFS: Carbon or the newly released NFS: Prostreet)

Personally I'm waiting for mario kart (Q2 2008)

GT4!! GT4!!! has the fireblade cateringvan in it, you can take it around the nurburgring... what game can beat that?

however a Ps2 is essential...
