Read in the paper today that the proportion of police officers in "Traffic" has been reduced from 15% to 6.5% since the intrduction of policing by camera.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, The Asocication of British Drivers belive that 5500 additional lives have been lost due to the reduction in patrols as the police rely on cameras to "patrol" the roads.

It's a disgrace

There are two cameras out of Clay Cross heading for Alfreton in a 50 limit. Everybody slows down to 35 to go through them as they are on a bend anyway. What I want to know is how do they get bikes as they seem to be checking traffic coming towards them and bikes have no front number plates.

yours, Pete.

I've been informed that the m4 now has those new digi camera's that sting you automatically. measures the time it takes for you to travel from one camera to the next, and will issue a ticket to anyone doing over 78mph. Necky twats

The last month or so round here has been potty with kids mucking about with fireworks to say the air wuz blue in my vicinity would be an understatement, poor dog would not go out the door. Then I found out last night in the pub, some of the more enterprising little sods whacked a couple of the local cameras with them or maybe Guy Fawkes distant relations having another go
