Autoroute tells me it's 3hrs and 52 mins from my place and I'm going. I don't want anything in particular but I like to see what there is. I wouldn't be driving my kit that far and I wouldn't be going just for the day, that's why we're camping!

Yup. Unless you don't like cars.

As mentioned - best bet especially when putting in the milage to get there is to go with a tent for the weekend. I havent been for a couple of years but it was the social side thats fantastic in addition to a great show. I used to go with the Tiger Owners crowd and we had some great pi$$-ups and BBQ's. Not sure if its the same now but there was a bar there for the evening which strangely we always seemed to end up in before doing our best to get told off by security after midnight!!

Traveling down from Edinburgh must be 300 odd miles. Do it every year i meet up with 4 guys from up here who dont own kit cars and they go every year. Its a pilgrimage

If only went to one this year it would be this one.
Definatly the best

Probably not worth going just for one day though. Make a weekend of it!

Go for it .... great to see all the other kit cars on display. Best to stay overnight of for the two nights to get most from the show.

At least 300 diesel sucking miles away but was gifted some free diesel thanks to a big boat...

Just hope my back can stand the trip in a matt black lowered T4

piddy - 28/4/08 at 10:04 PM

I would say yes unless the weather forcast is rain. Go for the weekend. It's a big show and all that travelling and the show is too much for one day.

David Jenkins - 29/4/08 at 08:08 AM

Agree about the rain - it's a very big showground and looking at all the club displays is a lot nicer if you're not walking about in rain. Also a lot of private cars won't turn up if it's chucking it down.
