Going to Silverstone for the weekend. Where is the best place to get a good view of the action parts of the circuit.

Cheers

luffield corner.
Its the one before the start finish straight.

You'll get to see the cars coming down the back straight, through the esses and then down to the start/finish line. Also there's a big screen and seats under cover.

I just got my winning ticket email info from Renault for the British GP
The seats are in the grandstand at the start of the finishing line so that you can see the 4 corners at luffield and down the main straight to copse.
Wherever you go at silverstone it is pretty flat so getting a good overview of anything more than a section of track is pretty difficult unless you can get up high.
Wherever you are, you'll see enough to enjoy it.
A good idea is a radio with headphones to listen to 87.7, Silverstone radio.

''on the telly''
Yeh cos everyone parks their deckchairs as close as they can to the track at 6am.
I'd go to bike gp at Donington instead cos u can sit on hillside at Craner Curves and get a great view. Bikers don't clutter the place up with deckchairs and kids as much, and u don't have to wait hours to drive out of the circuit. Oh and you might see some overtaking at a bike gp. Don't really know where's best but Abbey is not so good. Hope Hamilton wins.

If the weather is good try the back right (as you look at it) of Stowe B - You'll need sun cream and glasses as the sun will be on your right shoulder but you can see over half of the track - All the way from the first corner after the straight to the corner after the bridge...
