Car air fresheners....... ?
Jon Ison - 23/6/08 at 10:08 PM

Why are those silly cardboard ones only capable of smelling nice for thirty minutes?

Why do the plastic dolphin shaped ones never smell at all?

How comes the clip to side vents ones have little fans inside them that refuse to turn unless car blowers on full force and still fail to send out scent?

Do all football related car fresheners smell of Old Spice aftershave?

Anybody suggest a Car Air Freshener that actuall works or shall I revert back to the good old "Few Orange" ones?

Those small packets of Neutradol work well. I put one in the boot of my car, the smell drifts through from time to time. Works for about 6 weeks depending how far you tear back the foil.

Magis trees arnt bad if u get the right smell. The black ice smell doesnt last very long. 88p from tesco. new car scent or spice last a while.
Iv got a tesco value on in mine at the min. 11p for 2 smell lasted about 47 seconds.

My old car i got one of those clip on to the vent ones from aldi. 6 refills it was on the first one for 2 months and still smelled when i solf it to my dad and it still smells now with 5 refills left.

You’re not meant to take them completely out the bag, you'll see that on the instructions (no one ever reads). If you do that then it lasts a while plus you don't die from asphyxiation due to the unbelievable 5 minute stink

I keep road kill in the boot of my volvo, makes it smell but I draw the line after the maggots have hatched.

I liberally coated the back of my van in used gearbox oil (accidentally) about a week from new. It soaked into the plywood panelling, stank for a good year
