my day in hell
Mr Whippy - 25/6/08 at 10:43 AM

God I’m bored, not a thing to do in three days!

infact all I have done is write a list of thing to sell to pay for my new bike, done some sketches of bubble cars and drunk a gallon of coffee! Got so much to do back home (I was up till 2:30 in the morning tiling the kitchen )and I'm stuck here doing nothing but waiting for the end of the day

Can’t play any games as my screen is visible to others (this site is only a few inches across so alright there). What a chronic job this has turned out to be, sigh.

I could write a book, any suggestions?

I had been thinking of a third Alice in wonderland book.

Anyone laughs and their dead!

It’s an interesting idea but I have no idea how to go about doing that

Try the Allainz engineering web site if you have an HNC in engineering as a mininum and work from home as a surveyor.
Or any of the other insurance companies have the same set up

I did start a SFI book a few years ago, it was going well but then I decided to do a search on the web and discovered that the subject had been already done and lost interest in it. Not that that seems to prevent writers like her who did Harry Potter etc

I have always loved the Wonderland stories for some reason, perhaps because they are so crazy (some say drug fuelled ) and the characters very original. A lot of money can be made doing children’s stories. I mind seeing that Brum on the telly and thinking bast£rd I could have done that! bet he's make a bloody fortune!

presumably you have internet access?

if so thwen two things for you to do find.

1. find out how carbon fibre components fail compared to similar ones made from aluminium alloy or steel.
2. find references/pictures of really old motorcyle engines that used knife edge rockers.

Today at work I did about 5 mins of welding on a medication trolley and changed a tap.
Yesterday I replaced 3 extractor fans (two wires and two screw each)

It's driving me potty at the moment.
I work for a private sector care company and our maintenance manager couldn't organise a wee up in a brewery.
We do sod all most of the time as the work backlog builds up.
On the plus side we got a fifteen hundred quid pay rise lol
