The Scrapheap Jumbo - not seen one with that engine configuration before.

Anyone know why it's like that?

Cheers

How about a clue

It's the one at the Top Gear track, which IIRC was mocked up as a Russian plane for a film?

Mmmmmmmm fair point

All the jumbo's I've seen have 4 engines on 4 separate wing pylons. This one has only two pylons with 2 engines on each one.

(the challenge this week is to tow a jumbo jet along the tarmac)

Without looking at your links.
It was an European Aircharter plane (originally BA) owned by Paul Stoddart.
After they went bust, landed there to end it's days.
Engines remocked for James Bond Casino Royale...........................How am I doing?

I'll get my coat (an anorak! )
