I hoovered up a little bird in the tintop

I have an Alfa 145 that I haven't used for a few months and tonight I took off the old BMC "style" carbon air filter box jobbie and found inside it a little bird. It was wedged right into the corner of the cone. The cold air feed is about a metre long down to the front bumper inlet.

Feel a bit bad really, but can't figure for the life in me how it got in there. It can't have flown all the way up as the pipe is too small but I wouldn't have thought it would suck that powerful??

i would say it probably managed to get in there (nesting maybe?) and couldn't work out how to get back out again?

It was chasing the mouse , that was chasing the fly ............ if it had lived , there may have been a cat in there next

Good. I bet it was the same bird that shat on my car. (It's the last time I take her out)

maybe the wife put it in there for a laugh

we once had a bird on the antenna of the car while the car was parked. Apparently it flew itself straight on the antenna wich went through the bird.
