M40 near Oxford yesterday afternoon - having seen it in the flesh for the first (and probably only time - they only built 500) one of the most
beautiful cars since the GT40 - a black Alfa 8c Competizione.
Left hooker, Italian registered, driven by a rather suave older guy who was playing tunes on its V8 to the delight of a queue of following
petrol-heads.
Talk about drop dead gorgeous - if only I'd put my name down for one - and had £100k.
Ho, hum back to reality.
Cheers, Pewe

I know I'm in the minority here.... but I really don't think it looks that special!
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it- from the front it reminds me of a TVR Tuscan... but without the cool headlights!
And the reviews of handling/performance weren't that great either IIRC.
I'll have a Mclaren F1 any day!
And there's only 100 or so of them.... of which I've seen 7!
Mr. Whippy you really know how to deliver that sucker punch - don't you???
Right put me off work for the rest of the day it has - I'll just have to spend the rest of the afternoon preparing for the track-day tomorrow!
Cheers, Pewe
PS James simply put you're a Philistine - chaqune a son goo as Delboy used to say.
