Have found out my Moggie was despatched to Brittians Limited in Brighton, on or very soon after 4th march 1958.
Sounds like a family named business name!
Anybody got any info on the dealer, or are you a family member?
I'm looking to trace some information on my Moggie, but if not, would like to know about the dealer.

Just a thought, but if you are going to be doing internet searching you might ant to try 'Brittains' as well, which is a much more common spelling (you know what search engines are like!)

Thats what i get when you believe word for word the information you get about the body number..
A 1950's typo erorr.
Looks like they were taken over/merged with Caffyns'.
spoot the deliberate mitsake.
